Hi, I’m Dallan!

I’m the owner of Daydawn Properties LLC and I, like you, am a human being with a story, a personality, and a bright future :)

Where am I from?

I claim the West as my home—I grew up in the suburbs of Salt Lake City, Utah, just 20 minutes from Snowbird, my favorite world-class ski resort. I lived in Denver, Colorado, for a time, and now live closer to home in southern Utah. I live a challenging and fun life with my wife and darling kids.

What do I do?

By day, I’m an actuary. That means I help insurance companies calculate and prepare for the financial risks they take by insuring us. I am a wizard in Microsoft Excel!

On nights and weekends, I am a family man, a camper, a mountain biker, and a compulsive DIY-er. I’d rather try making something myself before buying it.

What makes me different?

• I made the ring I proposed to my wife with… out of a peach pit!

• I don’t enjoy long walks on the beach. Sand between my toes makes my spine curl.

• I can eat Otter Pops and bacon indefinitely. I once finished a 2-pound package of bacon during a single evening on a camping trip.
